How we operate.
The rules we hold ourselves to when handling your money, your documents and your information.
Client funds
Funds received for a purchase are recorded against that purchase and applied only to it. Every movement in and out is entered in the transaction record, with the exchange rate applied to any conversion shown separately rather than absorbed into the figure.
Authority to purchase
We do not commit your funds without your written approval of the specific option. If circumstances change between approval and completion, we return to you before proceeding.
Documents
Documents are stored against your file with a version history. Where a document requires your signature, we send it to you and record its status until the signed copy is returned. Where the law requires an original signature or notarisation, we will tell you and arrange the physical step.
Title verification
We check ownership and title documentation on any land we recommend. Where a title cannot be verified to our satisfaction, we will advise against the purchase. We are not a substitute for your own legal advice on a transfer.
Data protection
We collect only what we need to act for you and to meet identification requirements. We do not sell client information. Retention periods and lawful basis are to be confirmed as part of the legal review noted above.
Complaints
If something has gone wrong, contact your assigned officer first. If that does not resolve it, escalate in writing to the company. A formal complaints procedure with response times is to be defined.
